Dawlish and District Indoor Bowls Club: The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Any personal information you have provided to us regarding your membership will be used only for the purposes of running of the Club, which includes communicating by post, telephone, email, Internet portals such as the Club Website and Social Media. It will never be disclosed for marketing purposes. It will be shared with other related bowling organisations such as Bowls England, Disability Bowls, BDA, Bowls Devon, directories, competition entries and the like and subject to their respective Privacy Policies.
Your data is stored by computer and/or paper record and may be provided to committee members and other members when it is needed to facilitate the running of the Club efficiently and provide the benefits of membership to you.
The computer and paper records are controlled by the Membership Secretary. Other officers may similarly hold your information for their respective needs.
You grant permission for any images taken of you to be used for Club purposes including any publications or press releases.
You may correct your information at any time and your personal records can be removed within 28 days of your written request to the Membership Secretary but means of communication with you will always be retained.
You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe there is a problem with the Club’s handling of your data, but first please address your complaint to us for resolution.
