At the last committee meeting it was decided to launch a Crowdfunder as one avenue to gain additional funds for your club, and this has now gone live! Please do take a look and read about it yourselves – Urgent Funds needed for Dawlish Indoor Bowls.
The Crowdfunder will be running for 12 weeks.
The club would welcome donations from all; past and present members, their friends and family and also any other people or organisations that may wish to contribute to the ongoing success of this well-used facility within our town.
The Crowdfunder can be easily shared to others you know by simply opening the Crowdfunder page, then using the Share option (>) (located in the top options bar) to share through all social media platforms that you have available (this can be via email, WhatsApp, X, Twitter, Instagram etc.).
This would be especially helpful for the club, so even if not donating yourself please do share information about our Crowdfunder with others.
Although the committee are exploring various ways of raising funds, this is the first one to go live. We are seeking these funds in order to make a number of improvements to the club that will be for everyone’s benefit.
What improvements you may ask? The primary aim of the club is to get solar panels installed to reduce our ongoing running costs. Once these are installed the club aims to provide disabled access into the building and replace the carpet.
