The ladies Umbrella competition is coming to a conclusion soon and we shall then know who the finalists will be. Once again this is proving to be a very popular competition with many of the ladies taking part.

In this competition each pair is a combination of one Skip and one Lead (chosen from the list of available players on the day). Matches are played over 18 ends with 2 woods each, each player accumulating their own individual scores. Each players 7 best scores over the entire season are then totalled up to find the overall finalists.
Many of the Ladies are close to or have reached 7 matches played now, and there are just 3 weeks left to improve on those totals. Now is the time to get your best scores in!
Currently in the lead for Skips is Steph Cheshire on 102, with Georgie Nown just a point behind. Ahead for the Leads is Debs Kettley, quite a way in front on 125 points. Carole Scutt is currently lying second with 108 points.
The final week to get scores in is the 10th of March, at which point the finalists will be announced by Dawn Konetsky.
Good luck to all!
