Xmas Drive 2024, a Great Success!

The Christmas Drive for 2024 was yet another roaring success. Thanks to the endless enthusiasm of Colin Parker in particular (along with his team of able assistants) a total of over £450 was raised for the benefit of the club.

As well as Santa (Colin) there was Fred Baker listing all those incurring fines for minor misdemeanours, and Jerry Smith as a further adjudicator.

Sue Worthington and Steph Cheshire looked after the catering, with Hazel and June assisting in the organisation of the prize raffle.

All the games played this year revolved around balloons and blindfold masks, made all the harder by using the wrong hand and somebody else’s woods.

Everyone came along suitably attired in a Christmassy theme, and there was plenty of food and drink to enjoy afterwards.

The event was attended by club members as well as friends and family, with most taking part in the fun and games.

All in all, it was a splendid day out and Dawlish Indoor Bowls wish to thank everyone who came along on the day, for the excellent food, as well as those who contributed prizes for the draw.
