Dawlish and District Indoor Bowls Club (DIBC) are hosting their first ever Open Singles Competitions on Sunday 16th February. The first matches start at 9AM and will run all day.
The stardard of play is expected to be very high and spectators are in for a treat, so please come along and support the players.
Viewing games at Dawlish Indoor Bowling Club is all the better now with seating at the ends of the rinks, as well as adjacent to the entrance. There will be food and drink available to purchase.
Both events are played identically. There will be a round robin of 3 groups of 3, each playing 7 ends, 2 sets of 7 per game, with the top two going through as group winners to their final. All players are guaranteed a minimum of 2 games.
Competition are organised through Riviera Bowls with a high proportion of the entry fees going to the winners, some monies to the host club, with a small admin fee going to Riviera Bowls for organising them.
