The final of our Ladies’ “Umbrella” Competition was played on Monday 9th March, and what a lovely, closely fought game it was.
Congratulations to Debbie Coyles and June Jasper, who just edged a tight match to beat Tina Rowe and Ellie Libby.
A really enjoyable afternoon of bowls, played in the true spirit of the Umbrella — friendly, relaxed, and social, with plenty of chat and laughter along the way.
A sincere thank you to Dawn Konetski for all the time and care she puts into organising the competition — it’s very much appreciated by everyone who takes part.
