Some of our junior members are performing exceptionally well this year.
In particular, Andrew Moore, who has progressed in the English Indoor Bowls Association Under 18s National Singles Championship, winning through as the South West Division Champion to the National Finals being held at Nottingham Indoor Bowling Centre on 2nd April 2023.
He will be playing for a semi-final place and, hopefully, beyond.
This is a notable achievement for Andrew, being a member of our Youth Academy. He will be the first club member of any age to qualify to play at such a high level.
Andrew and brother, Chris, also gained valuable experience by previously entering the Bowls England Nationals Outdoors U18’s Singles Championship. Whilst they were unable to progress on this occasion, the experience will always stand them in good stead.
