Dawlish and District Indoor Bowls Club was formed in 1970 and soon became affiliated to Devon County Indoor Bowls Association, Devon County Ladies Indoor Bowls Association and the English Indoor Bowling Association. This they did just two years later, in 1972.
In 2020 the club celebrated 50 years in existence having grown steadily over the years, and now it is 50 years of being affiliated.
The club has a healthy membership, competitors taking part at both home and away matches across many indoor clubs in the surrounding area.
