“Dawlish has Talent”!

Local brothers, Andrew (left) and Chris Moore have done their family and club proud! They are both members of Dawlish Indoors Bowling Club. 

Peter Hayes, Publicity Officer, explains: “Andrew has reached the quarter finals of the English Indoor Bowls Association National (EIBA) Under 18s Singles Championship for 2022-23 to be played in April at Nottingham, having prevailed over Cornwall and Devon opposition.

“Last year Chris and Andrew represented the Devon County team in the EIBA National Mixed Two Rink Triples Finals held at Nottingham.

“Andrew & Chris also reached the semi-final of the 2022-23 Devon County Under 21s Singles Championship but lost by the closest of margins. Andrew is a past holder of this trophy. “Both Andrew and Chris are members of the Dawlish Youth Bowls Academy, the brainchild of Coach, Rick Purnell”.
