The club are very saddened to hear that Fred Baker’s faithful companion, Alphie, has passed away at the remarkable age of 18. Alphie wasn’t just Fred’s dog – he was very much part of our bowling club family.
Always on the lookout for a friendly face (and an even friendlier hand with a dog treat!), Alphie had a knack for charming treats out of people and knew exactly who to visit. His gentle presence, wagging tail, and big personality brought smiles to everyone.
The club won’t feel quite the same without him padding around the club. Our thoughts are with Fred at this time – Alphie will be fondly remembered by us all.
