Peter Hayes, Publicity Officer, comments: “Dawlish Indoor Bowls Club held their annual celebration dinner and awards ceremony at the Langstone Cliff Hotel on Wednesday 1st May 2024.
Special thanks must go to Men’s Captain, Colin Parker, for all the hard work he put in to organising and managing the fixtures timetable.
61 guests attended the dinner and enjoyed a lovely meal followed by the presentations. The successful evening was concluded with a raffle, which raised an impressive £423 – a small club, but with a big heart!
One particular highlight of the evening was the presentation to Cherry Chapman, by Head Coach, Rick Purnell (pictured), for her outstanding contribution to coaching over many years.”
